I have used Pyramid flats and I believe La Bellas are better than Pyramid and TI's, with that said, there is a reason the Ernie Ball strings are the best selling strings out there, because they're the best. Regular Slinky 10's are tough to beat.

Clapton, Richards, and many others seem to like them...

    EB Slinky Hybreds 9 - 46.
Easy bending, good bottom, good intonation, stays in tune, clear tone.
On both the SX Tele and Heritage 140.

And my local shop stocks them.

Been using DR Pure Blues 9's for some time now. I used to figure a string's a string, but these seem to do it for me more than the others I've used. That said, it always comes down to each players personal taste.

Use the same, but in 11's! Always trended towards lighter strings, bought my wound G's on a whim, and my technique has improved considerably! Really surprised at how much of a difference it made, am now a true believer in trying everything out for a little while before settling on something just because you "think" it's what you should be uaing

If you are playing pure nickel strings and they aren't GHS Burnished Nickel--you have made a mistake! The best kept secret in the string world!

DR Tite-Fit 10's. Put them on all my electrics. I may switch to something else, though. For the last year, I've been frustrated with intonation issues, thought it was just my imagination. I've found numerous accounts that they do indeed have intonation inconsistencies.

I really do prefer their sound, however.

I find that lots of different strings work well on Teles (but not so much on Strats). I normally use heavy-bottomed 11's, but a Tele is one of the few types of guitar on which I can stand 9's (though I do put 10's or 11's on the bottom when I use 9's).

Been trying out a bunch…. do not like the D'Addarios… (even tho that's what I started out trusting). Like the EB Super Slinkys, but maybe GHS Nickel Rockers better. Will try the EB's again soon.

I took the plunge and ordered (from Strings by Mail) Thomastk-Infeld "BLUES SLIDERS" (9-43) for my tele. Man, what a treat. And if they last as long as I hear, then they are definitely worth it!!!

the best strings are new ones, or maybe a few days old.

    brand doesnt matter much

    I use

    EB slinkies
    D'addario
    GHS
    Dunlop
    Pyramid max performance (pure nickel)
    D'addario EPN (pure nickel)
    Gibson Vintage Reissue (pure nickel)
    Snake Oil (pure nickel)

Ive never had a problem with any of these
the longest lasting and best feeling id say are Pyramid Max Performance,
doesnt mean they are the best, but they are noticeably better in some ways.

lately ive been running EBs or Dunlops
