Has anyone found a good looking strap that's price-appropriate for the surf green FSR Tele?

Black or natural leather cannot go wrong...

I vote natural leather but then that is what I like.

The best looking strap is always the old school skinny black leather one with the buckle. Functionality? That's up to the shoulder of the beholder.

My wife was in love with the strap I used to try out my new BSB Baja Tele at Guitar center.
It was one of those reproduction hippy style gold/yellow straps.

I let her buy me the 800 dollar Tele and left the 39 dollar strap there.

Now I see that my padded leather mahogany Levy's strap doesn't look right with the Tele LOL.

Now were coordinating straps with guitars HUGE LOL !!!

That strap is pricier than I was intending, but I have to ask whether you have one and like it?

Back to my OP, I'm wanting something to looks good with the surf green.

I'm a big fan of two straps:

    1. Fender vintage black leather skinny with the buckle... I have one on my Antigua Tele and one on my Seafoam Strat. I have 11 of these straps all total.

    2. Henry Heller nubuck suede... I have a green one on my Green Meanie (GRB Kokocaster) and three black ones.

Unfortunately I don't. I had just clicked on his thread, admired his product, and then saw your thread. Just a coincidence?

any of those sparkly plastic brightly colored straps would be perfect regardless of the color.

Look up Walker and Williams straps on eBay or Amazon. They've got some leather ones that look good but aren't too pricey ($25 to $35 range for most).

You can buy some really cheap ones dire from China but don't count on them being very durable if they're leather or faux leather. Around $12 to $15 the quality becomes more acceptable.

I wove my own strap out of 550 cord and it's been my favorite strap ever. Any color you can imagine. Also, handy if you're headed to a gig and get lost in the woods for a few weeks, as you can unwind it and jump rope until someone saves you
