My main amps have reverb. I have an old Kalamazoo and black face vibro champ that don't. What are your favorite reverb pedals? I need a pedal that is reverb only.

It's not the best, but it sure is a lot of bang for the buck, the Biyang Tri-Reverb RV-10:

It's taken the place of my much more expensive Boss FDR-1 '65 Deluxe Reverb Amp pedal.

I have a Boss,63 Fender Reverb pedal. FRV-1.. Use it when I gig with the Bassman. Can't say if it is better than others though, because I haven't compared them. For what its worth, I like the pedal.....Phil

I love my Wampler Faux Spring, as does anyone who hears it.

Lotsa good choices. I like the tc electronic Hall of Fame quite a bit for versatility and good sounds, though the spring setting isn't my favorite. That said, some of the springy toneprints aren't bad, and now you can edit and store your own.

The Cusack Sweet Verb and Earthquaker Devices Ghost Echo seem cool, too...

I use a Holy Grail Nano, and it works great for me.

Since getting my Digitech Hardwire RV-7, I don't even use my on-board reverbs.

Very verstatile with some great settings - the Lexicon algorithms they use are stellar. It'll cover everything from adding a bit of space to an all-out surfy splash.

Two favorites, and tried many others:

    - Hermida reverb
    - Fuchs Good Verberations

The former is hard to come by. Not sure this guy is even building them now. The latter is not well known, but a damn good reverb. Neither one exactly spring like, which is OK by me as I also use a Texotica outboard reverb, which sure is spring. Though one of the best things about it is the highly effective tone control. Turn down far enough, and it sounds more like a plate reverb.

These three choices sound so good to me, I usually go with one rather than built in reverb even when it is available.

EH Holy Grail works well for me with my 57 Twin RI (which actually doesn't need much reverb given the natural reverb of the bigger tweed cab.

I use the built in reverb on my Ampeg GVT 15 and that's a great sound too.

T Rex Room Mate is the sweetest reverb I've ever heard.

The best verb only I've tried is the Solidgoldfx Surf Rider Dlx...amazing pedal.

My all around favorite is the Strymon Flint, but it's Trem too.

Have not tried any of those in that link, but for old school, my one trick pony, Boss FRV-1 is about as close as I can get to an actual reverb box.

I built one of the BYOC ones, sounds a lot better than my Holy Grail, which I then sold.
It uses the same chip that is in most of the newer, high end reverb pedals, the belton brick.

I use Hall of Fame reverb, mainly the Church and Hall settings.

I also own a RV-7 and like it a lot. The other Hardwire in the Supernatural however is my favorite sanely priced verb. Best verbs by far I have tried so far have been the Strymons but they are quite pricy.
For under $200 you won't beat the 2 Hardwires and I own one of each.
