Hard to choose. But I know that studio1087 is at the top of the list! John sold me my first pedals: a biyang reverb and a joyo sweet baby (that I should never have sold). So he is responsible for getting me started in pedals (and threw in some friendly, free advice). It was a great first experience with TDPRI.

But now that I think about it, I'm not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

I hear that Rustbucket guy is pretty swell.

On a more serious note, all my friends over in the liars thread get my vote.

I'll be the first to say I'm the biggest poser on these forums. I have way more money than talent, and I'm broke.

I'll bet you're not even left handed! :^)

The thing I love about this forum is, it doesn't depend on a few really cool posers.....posters.

I love reading posts from the guys who are going to be the stars in 2018, 2019. Fun to watch a guy start to feel comfortable, and you get to know a little bit about them and that's great.

I learn things from a lot of folks. It wouldn't be much fun with only a few posers or posters.

I haven't been here that long, but I have come to sort of expect certain types of responses from certain members. I don't mean that in a bad way ! It is just nice to be comfortable and not constantly read acrimonious swill. For the most part folks are civil even when things get spirited and I enjoy everyone's posts.

Zimbo. Without a doubt, Zimbo. And he should be your favorite too, if you know what's good for you.

My favorites are all the members who bother to use paragraphs, punctuation, and can spell well.

I know that sounds harsh, but it really helps me read posts.

I have this thing where with anything I read, my mind conjures up a voice that goes with it. It started when I'd read books as a kid.

When I read something that's properly, or at least passably written, the voice I hear is much more pleasant to me than the ones I hear when they're are crazy run-ons, bad spelling, etc.

Those voices just don't sound particularly bright.

I figure... I didn't even graduate high school. If I can somehow find a way to write something that comes across as even marginally intelligent, so can anybody else. Just takes a little effort. And giving a damn.

It makes communication so much easier and more enjoyable.

I always give consideration when English isn't somebody's first language, obviously.

Just picking personalities, I'd have to put Studio1087, Totos Dad, and William Tele at the top of the heap. I've met two of those guys in person, and hope to meet the third. Great folks.

    Joel Terry...the guy is unique.

Olewitchita is a super nice guy and so knowledgeable yet he never put me or others down for our ignorance. And he's a great player and student of the instrument.

When this thread gets to 500 posts someone needs to tally up the results, and the poster with the most votes gets a "Certificate of Achievement", drawn with crayons on the back of a used sheet of copy paper. Suitable for framing, or wrapping fish.

I put in my vote right now, for Hoodie McFoodie!
