the question has been posed since caveman days, and still there really is no good answer except, some people are different, thats all.

A little early for "best" of 2019. Also, there are no "best criteria" so it can only be your favorites. Because, in my opinion (the only one that counts) other opinions are irrelevant. But these list may may provide some indication of available new music.

I've had "Reggae Now" by the Aggrolites on constantly since it was recently released.
IMO it's a proper modern reggae albuum.:)

Thanks, I’m listening to it now. Getting more of an “America” vib from it - which is a good thing!

This is the 3rd CD release in 2 years from Jim Thomas (Mermen guitarist/composer). Incredible burst of creativity from a guy approaching 70! This one has grown on me and while it's not quite my favorite, it's probably in the 3.5 to 4 star category.

They're actually based in Santa Cruz now and don't tour much. Fortunately I live nearby and catch them a few times a year.

I see we have a lot of the same tastes. We should form a band.

I'm looking forward to Richie Kotzens new album coming out in a couple days time.
That will make it something like 25 solo albums.

At least I think it's an album, could be just a few new songs with videos?
