I am looking for color pictures of the bender Tele that Bernie Leadon used in the Eagles.
No idea but I think he used an Evans device on his
Yes that he did, the Evans "Pull String".
Found this by using the magic of 'Google'
I saw that pic but was hoping to find some nice pics of the front. I could only find 2 or 3 and they were pretty small.
Don't know if that will help.
Is that one his? The one he used had a humbucker in the neck.
Love those early Eagles tunes.
Bernie's contributions were so overlooked and then overshadowed by Don Felder before he left the band.
The guitar went through some changes.
I think it started life with a white (Oly?) finish and a rosewood fingerboard.
It had it's finish stripped, Gibson humbucker, maple neck and Evans bender added.
Years ago, it was offered for sale.
I heard Clarence White first, but Bernie and his Tele made be buy a B bender.
My first was a Glaser.
It was great, but I have always wanted an Evans bender.
Maybe when I grow up.
Boy does that man know how to make it sing!!
Didn't Bernie Leaden also have a B Bender with a roll knob and a PAF in the neck position? I think I've seen him using something like that in a very early rendition of Take it Easy and Glen Frey is playing something like a 335/Casino but it's not a Gibson- has P-90s.Just checking my facts and trying to clarify things- not self- checking.
