    Hey Guys.

To those who have swapped speakers in your BDRI. Which one did you go to, and did it get the tone you were hoping?

Any other mods other than speaker swap?

I see the Cannabis Rex and Swamp Thang are pretty popular.

Emi GB128. EVERYBODY has loved and nobody has hated this in fenders. GB stands for greenback. This name is wrong and misleading. Its just warm, round and clear.

One of the DR gold standard speakers is Weber's 12F150 (8 ohm, 50w, light dope).

I sported a Celestion G12-100 in my Blues Deluxe for a few years. it sounded warm, round and clear with a tight bass.
that big magnet though made the amp quite heavy.

I switched back to the original Fender Eminence speaker and instantly liked the sparkle and chime without emphasizing the bass too much.
the loss of weight was very much appreceated.
    it's staying. ;)

I also put an Eminence GB128 in my original Blues Deluxe. It was a good result, but I'm sure there are a lot of great speakers for this amp.
