A backtrack I put together for jamming to.
Nice balanced backing sir; love it. I'm sure you'll get plenty of takers, I've got things in the pipeline at the moment, otherwise I would have given it a try. It actually sounds like a good track for a movie!
@fendrguitplayr It's very nice and snappy !!!
Here is my version of it. Nice track!
@udoering Nice playing and tone with some great ideas throughout. Nice volume swells.
My friend, Joe joined me on this take :
Thank you! Hope there will some more coming!
I wish I knew what Joe has contributed! Anyhow, I dig the guitar parts (or was there a bass guitar played on the upper registers involved?) and the sax! The Strat in the breaks was a little too loud, but never mind, when I just reheard my version I found I should have lower the guitars´ volume, too!
Joe played sax and one of the guitar parts. Yea, I apologize for the rushed mix and tuning issues (wiggle stick).
Very nice, Mark. The chorus or flange (I can't tell anymore either) gives it a Metheny type vibe.
@Mjark : very nice, Mark! I like the sound and your playing: the notes you play are statements, you are not overdoing it and give your lines "space to breathe".
@fendrguitplayr : please stop apologizing. Most of our tracks (at least mine) contain warts and imperfections.
@fendrguitplayr Really liked this track. It's been relentlessly hot and dry here for the past month (yep in the UK!) and it inspired me to try and 'do' that musically so I had a lot of fun with it - cheers!
'66 Tele and Zoom multi-stomp again. The sitar effect is achieved with backwards reverb and playing with exaggerated finger vibrato.
@estreet Nice bite to your tone & the sitar effect and wah you used sounds cool. Great riffage throughout.
I like the bouncing wah guitar and the sitar effect, but I like your "normal" guitar playing at least as well! 2:01 is superb.
70's Cop show theme for certain! Well done.
