I've hardly been playing and squeezed this out. I often like these tracks but wasn't feeling this one.

fendrguitplayr Nicely done, Mike! That track effect fooled, ha! I like your first tone had some honk to it but your second tone (strat? ) was nice and subtle for this track.
Mjark Very nice tone and played. Melodic but still bluesy, lovely lines.

knh555 Ominous vibe with the vibrato. I liked the two guitars, they mixed well, it feels epic.

Katana insisted on using her Wah this morning. She is getting very bossy in this rainy weather

@knh555 -Great ideas throughout with a middle eastern vibe at times.
@Mellencaster -Your acoustic sounds very good and playing fits the track very well.
@Kilgore Trout -Very cool riffage and wah sounds from the get go.
@CNG232 - That Katana and your playing sounds great here.

My Saturday morning attempt, Kat on clean, and ASAT turned down about 1/3, makes me have to dig for the blues much more, like BB did.

Sure wish I could sing, slightly embarrassing lol. I have no idea why I did it until I heard me doing it and that put a stop to that right quick. I could have made another take but what the hey,,, I can laugh at myself. Pay me and it gets much better.

Kilgore Trout Very smooth playing and subtle wah. I really liked the space that you allowed in your lines. Very nice.

CNG232 Sounds very good Chip, you've kept it nice and interesting to the end.

ASATKat Melodic just like Mark's, it has a Clapton essence in your lines . Quite nice.

Didn't have a whole lot of time with it but here it is. Chain: Mosrite JR copy (neck mini-HB), Aroma G-Fuzz, Mojo Diamond head, Mooer Radar (SF Twin Reverb setting), Cuvave Digital Reverb (Room setting).

Fun stuff! Thanks for posting @fendrguitplayr. I played a mix of tele tones, harmonica and Nashville tuned acoustic guitar toward the end. Even added a vocal thang for gits and shiggles:

    Thanks Mellencaster,
I guess there is a sort of Clapton hint in the tone, Lay Down Sally-ish , but it wasn't my intent, that little Katana can get wonderfully close to a number of Claptain tones. I didn't notice the Clapton tone thing until you pointed it out lol.

I originally wanted to sound like a Reggae guitarist on this but the blues got a hold of me.

bgmacaw My first impression would be a piece of Eastern music but as I listen farther into your track I think a Santana vibe is with more the sound that I hear. Either one would've been a suitable choice and nicely played
MrClint A nice production of instruments Mt Clint and a very nice spin on it, sounds cool.
KennyWTelejazz Very smooth track Kenny! From a Bossa Nova to a blues styling, it works very well with this track.

fendrguitplayr - Solid playing through out and in keeping with the genre. That warble section was a showstopper.

Mjark - Like the bluesy path you took. Tasty note salad.

knh555 - Squeezed one out? Naw, sounded great. Nice snarly tone.

@Mellencaster - Very nice. The acoustic sets a nice mood. Thanks for the kind words. It’s not a genre that I gravitate towards, but makes for a nice sound palette.

@Kilgore Trout - Sweet wah tones! Nice track to listen to in the background -- relaxing in the evening while "contemplating" things that are legal in Canada. :)

@CNG232 - More nice wah! The tone had an interesting “underwater” quality.

ASATKat - Nice bit of playing! The tone was a bit spikey in my el cheapo headphones so had to keep the volume lower than I would have liked. Not sure if it’s the eq in the mix or tone from the amp. But your playing was pretty flawless. Really a lot to like.

bgmacaw - Very dreamlike! Really liked the tone and presentation a lot.

KennyWTelejazz - Sweet, sweet, tone! I got a Bossa Note meets the blues groove as well. Good work!
