Is there great difficulty in replacing the bridge that came with the new Standard Mexican Tele with a vintage replacement part? Any info is greatly appreciated.

    It's drop-in direct replacement if it's a 1998 or later MIM Standard Tele. :!:

Thanks much. I was a drummer by trade, moved to bass by medical necessity and decided to learn guitar also. My first guitar is a budget minded Mexican Tele and I have fallen in love with it. But in my zeal to make the Tele, "mine", I ordered the vintage bridge complete with cover etc (and noiseless pickups), before I thought out the entire process.
