I've noticed that when the price of gas goes up, as it did over the last year and a half, the price of transporting all good's usually follows. (My grocery bill has increased quiet a bit over that period of time.)
Now the the price of gas is, at least is temporarily going down... the price of transporting those good's does not always follow.
The prices remain... it's just smart American business.
There are people here who actually know how much they spend on food?
I don't have a clue, and I think I'm better off:
We spend a fortune, and half of it goes in the garbage. Both my wife and I are too lazy to buy and ration properly, although she's very on top of paying the lowest prices. Me? I don't care.
I want a lobster tonight, and I don't care if there's only $19.22 in the checking account.
