Okay I'm first. I played this with my J200 (under saddle piezzo pickup) into a Trace Elliot TA-100R acoustic amp that I've had for years. I haven't used it in a long while and it really needed some contact cleaner on the knobs and sliders. I got it set up and mic'd it with an SM-57 and two Behringer C-2 stereo condensers. Unfortunately it peaked in a number of places and I was too lazy to filter them out. Nothing else except the backing track and me plinking away.

    Comments welcome.

John, you captures a nice laidback playing and sound; it didn´t sound like piezo at all. Anyhow, I missed you singing!

Ulrich - Nice job on this. Smart not stomping on the piano solo like I did. If you missed my singing you need to quickly get your hearing checked:lol:

Mike - No problem for me listening to the end. I liked the tone and I generally prefer a clean sound. Liked the stretch around 2:15 to 2:40.

Mike, I found that very listenable. Nice guitar sounds all the way. Regarding the clean playing: I re-listened that clean part, and I think, you played pretty expressive. I don´t mind the crunchy parts at all, but I think you could trust yourself more in your ability to play in a clean sound, keeping it interestingly by playing in a expressive way.

This seems like a good tempo for you John. It's less harsh than I'd exprect from the piezo as well.

Mark, I like your version very much. You had some really good lines in there. As you are the second one to use an acoustic, i want to ask if the original version (if there is one) is also played with an acoustic?
