Keith, how are you still alive?
At least he doesn't go outside himself and try to come up with some flowery accolade or an embellished anecdote. Keef is Keef.
I've watched a few of the Ask Keith videos.
I like the guy.
Had he not been successful, I think he'd still
be playing music in some bar with his friends.
Whew......for a minute there I thought Keith was starting up some sort of Dear Abby type advice column only about the best drugs to buy or top groupie cities to visit.
I'm with Keith. If there can be only one it has to be a Tele or a Tele type modified to taste.
He's actually not. Disney created an animatronic version of him years ago. Quite clever really.
I enjoy listening to him. He comes across as being much different than I ever expected. Very knowledgeable and willing to share his thoughts and far more humble than I anticipated. He may look like a corpse but look can be deceiving. He's still pretty sharp when the talk is about music and gear.
Agree. I listened to the Audible version of "Life" and he narrates several chapters. It was a joy.
BTW, Johnny Depp and Joe Hurley weren't too shabby, either.
I generally agree, but this video was not the best example of it.
"My telecaster, because I'm married to him. Ehm... ehm... we are kind of married."
Yeah but the question may have caught him off guard and the man has a whole lot of guitars. If you asked me to pick just one out of my far smaller herd I'd probably hesitate too. Picking just one would require some thought. I don't even have a #1 I play. They all get their shots.
But that's Keith. I'm sure he's killed off more brain cells by now than some people are born with.
That's for sure. He's been around forever
& get one of the 6 string models...
Keith Richards' wisdom reminds me of how you can understand a territory better when you fly over it
He has been at 30,000 feet for over 50 years. His autobiography is full of intelligent observation
