Any Arizona pickers?
I'm just west of Tucson!!
I'm in Gilbert
In beautiful Goodyear, west of Phoenix, south of the mighty Gila River, in the foothills of the grand Estrella Mountains!
Yes, I'm in North Phoenix and play all over the state
Live in Clarkdale. Work in Sedona. Play all over the Verde Valley.
Maybe we could organize an AZ TDPRI jam in Phoenix sometime? Used to jam with Cowboytwang in LA years ago.
Count me in.
Arrowhead Ranch area of Glendale. Hello hello...
East Tucson here. Proud lifelong Zone!
Count me in. I'm just outside of Queen Creek in the east valley.
I am not a native, can I join?
This is the first one I have put together in Arizona.
Ya got my vote...
That's a beauty Colt. Welcome
I lived in Mesa when I was in second-third grade.
I really liked it!
Lots of snakes, lizards, dry heat, pomegranate trees, citrus trees, Apache Tears (volcanic glass-from the Superstition Mountains), date palms, cactus, cotton fields and (evaporative) "coolers" in my memory.
Thanks for the stroll!
Maybe we need more pics to get this club up and running.
Good idea. Here's one I took while making some mesquite briquettes up to cook flank steak the other night
Obligatory kick ass sunset shot
If there's one thing we gots, it's scenery. My job requires me to drive all over the state, and I never get tired of it.
hey can i join, im in apache junction. it's between gold canyon, and mesa. nice picture
p.s ill have to take some pictures, i live at the foot of the superstition mountains. we get some nice sunsets too.
and whoever posted that picture of the choia ( never mind after looking closer wrong cactus) i hate that cactus.there like fish hooks for thorns, you walk by and they just fly at you. evil plant.
N. Phx here. Mike Simpson and I play all over the state in our band.
And some pretty cool history, too ...
Three Sisters ruins in Sedona.
Some pics from my morning run:
The Santa Catalinas from the Tanque Verde wash
Still some water in the arroyo
Also saw some beautiful coyotes and a javelina but didn't get the phone out in time.
