Good for her. It’s about time women get recognition.

The fact that her three songs are at the top might just be an indication that no-one else is selling right now. Her album sold a mere 360,000 copies in a week. Just three years ago, Adelle sold 3.4 MILLION copies of her last album in its first week.

    .

The note about taking over the 'protools' controls was fun to see.

If this were a quiz show question, I'd have guessed Taylor Swift would have been a likely candidate for that match with the Beatles.

Good for her, I’m sure she’s worked her tail off to get there. Let’s wait and see if 50 years after she stops performing her music is still considered timeless.

Or that no one else is making anything that sounds as good...Which would be pathetic. Its not often that I listen to anything popular but I just took the time to listen to a couple of the songs she made into the top 3 and I want the 50 seconds of my life back, including the 30 seconds I had to waste watching the State Farm promo

Kids today like different stuff. As generations die off, then there's bound to be a swing away from music that was made 50 and 60 years ago.

Well, the Beatles have been done, so now it’s the Grande.
If you don’t like it there’s plenty other stuff

She's a cute little thing. Beyond that nothing. That music is dead inside. I feel nothing when I listen to it.

You don't matter. You are not the target audience. Music from previous generations, including my own, is becoming irrelevant. Better get used to it.
