Are there any decent rackmount preamps for country?

I had an ADA MP-1 rack-mounted preamp, the ubiquitous dual 12AX7 preamp from the 80's and it did great clean sounds. It was a bit generic-sounding (not a distinctive tone of its own), but it sounded great and was quite useful. It has become a popular modding platform lately and also has the bonus of a built-in analog chorus.

I doubt the OP is paying any attention at this point...

    Should be good to go!

Scott Grove on Youtube talks a lot about his many years of gigging and playing country bars... says one of the cleanest guitar amps he's ever had is a hartke Bass amp rack mount... i bought one for like 90 bux on ebay. I'd say he's right. Clean and loud AF. Plays clean quiet too.

I'd gig that and a 2x12 or 4x12 cab ANYWHERE with a bunch of pedals.
