Hey guys, I’m after feedback on the above guitar. Found a new one for a great price, but it’s interstate. None local either. Besides the different neck radius, I don’t see anything different to a ‘52 AVRI ?

    Cheers, Scott.

Nope, just radius and the body color being more translucent and orange-ish. Maybe taller frets than the 2012-2017 '52 Reissue?

The one I’m looking at actually has the lighter canary yellow colour, so the neck colour isn’t so jarring to the eye.

No one? Doesn’t seem like they have much of a following here.

    Cheers, Scott.

Sorry to answer this late, but I found the thread searching for comments on that model. Anyway...

I don't think it's that they don't have much of a following, but rather that it hasn't happened yet because it's a brand new model this year so not that many people on this forum own one right now—they haven't been in the stores very long. But those that do sound pretty happy with them.

They're great guitars. There are only a few differences between the AO50s and the AV52 that they replaced in the model line. The main one is the 9.5" fretboard radius which is an improvement, it makes the guitar more playable. The other one is the colour, the AO50 is more like the slightly darker AVRI finish instead of the AV52 "Harper" blonde.

If you get one of these I'm sure you'll love it. They tick all the boxes and get all the details right, same thing could be said of the AO60s.

Terry O'Riley of twangcentral.com.au Gilbert St. Adelaide has one for sale, I think, anyway his shop has an Adelaide ( 08) number to call him.
He is a world authority, friend of Joe Bonamassa who calls Terry when he tours here, the Doobies and others. He can answer your questions.
