OK, I have done searches but haven't found anything useful about using these pups in a Classic Vibe Custom Tele. I'm not totally unhappy about the stock pups. The bridge is somewhat twangy but less so since I upgraded pots and put in a Wilkinson bridge with compensated saddles. I play through a '68 Silverface Champ and a clone 5E3 Proluxe. Sounds pretty good but I'd like a more vintage sound and wonder if these would do it. I've read A LOT of positive reviews in the Brazillian jungle. But thought I'd check here too. They aren't priced too dearly. Also considered Vintage Noiseless but they seem to have a very high failure rate.

Don't see why they wouldn't sound good.

I'm really asking, I guess, has anybody done it on any Squier Tele?

They'll sound the same in a Squier Tele as they do in a Fender '52 AVRI. Great pickups, and you can't go wrong. Will sound much better than the "thin" A5s in your CVC IMHO. They can be found for very reasonable prices, just shop around.
