Took a break from learning the Power Twang Teaser solo (actually a stolen lick makes an appearance in the solo) and grabbed my 335 with TV Jones Classics and a Bigsby and recorded this one:

Loved the tone and the playing...

If one nitpick...sounds like you were swinging...but that backing track wasn't.

Thanks! Yeah, I modded it. I wanted a Reverend Horton Heat Gretsch but the budget is not quite there (I will have one!) so I slapped in some TV Jones Classics, new upgraded pots and caps and installed a Bigsby. So I have the essential Gretsch tone and function while I wait for the RHH. I don't know whether I will convert it back or leave it as it is. It sure sounds sweet this way, at least I think so! :)

    Thanks!

    Appreciate it!

Good ear! Yeah, I was trying to get the backing track to make it sound more rockabilly but the song begs to be swung and it is hard not to. I like how it turned out, but it sounds better with a swing beat underneath. Thanks for the kudos!

Great stuff...love the guitar tone. What did you use to make the backing track?

Thanks!! I wish the backing track was higher in the mix, but it was done on iReal Book which is an app on my iPhone.

    Thanks! I'll check it out!
