Joseph F. Glidden of DeKalb, Illinois, received a patent for the modern invention of barb wire in 1874. This one piece of old growth pine was salvaged during the Barn/Workshop renovation. Ron Kirn built this Telecaster from it.

It’s not your Grampa’s Tele. Well played. Very stable.
Thanks Ron! There are many Clint Eastwood Barncasters and I wanted a Wyatt Earp Model.
    19th century Top Tier.

Real pearl pick guard and engraved plates. 19th century style.

Always promised “Belle” an introduction to the community. Just finally fulfilling her wishes.

Very nice combination of details. I wonder if he used the engraved plates from ElDorado, it where I got mine.

    Welcome.
Nice, but what is the association with Barbed wire, or am I just not seeing it?

The Wood for the Guitar came from the Glidden Barn Workshop were the Barb Wire was invented in its present form and initially manufactured. Some planks were made available and Rom picked up two. Arlo has a guitar from one plank and I have the other. This was the Barb wire configuration that came into use in the taming of the West.
