Just tracked this and did a quick mix. I toned back singing to try and control my voice more, and it came out more mellow than i inteneded. Also bodged some lyrics towards the end. I'll start to retrack everything during this week and write something for the break.
Feedback on mix and composition is welcome

Really lush clean tone on the electric guitar! Miked amp? Sim? ... Unfortunately, it's obscuring your lyrics. But if this is just a trial run, I'd say you've got a good thing going — tons of potential. But ... no bass? No drums? Tell us a little about your recording setup, software etc.

Sure thing. I have one of the current small behringer interfaces. I'm recording into Ardour. Electric is a homemade guitar with lipstick pickups into a Peavey Bandit mic'd with a condenser. The lush reverb I dumped on it is from a plugin called TAL-Reverb-II. it's pretty nice and free! https://tal-software.com/products/tal-reverb

I haven't got round to writing a bass part. I don't have drums (I wish). I could probably do basic drums on a midi keyboard using Hydrogen. In this case my base track is acoustic and vocals without a click.

I'm not listening to details, but overall the mix and performance sounds professional.

You really got something going there! Keep working on this one, post here and the experts (of which of am not one!) will continue to help. One of my first impressions is really from a production standpoint. The sound does not progress much from the start to finish. Could use something to build the sonics.

Love it, love it, love it. Absolutely keep working on it. Fantastic. Couldn't help but try to play along a little on my pad controller.
