    Hey, guys!

I wanted to put together the perfect primer for people looking to get into country guitar and make it enjoyable for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. I've always liked that TDPRI has good content and discussion for people of all levels of experience and it's fun to contribute to that.

This video will take you through 10 songs spanning 60 years and introduce you to 12 important country guitarists in 8 and a half minutes.

    Hope you guys like it!

Nice choices! Six days on the road would be another in my view.

That is a fun one. Narrowing down to 10 was tough.

    Great video...

I can imagine it would be. Just to pile on, you missed the brits contributions in the 80's... Ray Flacke (Ricky Skaggs) and Albert Lee (Emmylou) :D

I love the opening riff of "Just Call Me Lonesome" by Radney Foster.
