Here is a Cozart Telecaster copy. 99 dollars. How does it sound let's see shall we.
I've two Cozarts. They are cool. Some people who have never touched or heard one tell me , or I should say, imply to me, that they are junk
This is my tele copy for 120 bucks. Nice
Ah so...not too shabby...
Wilkinson licenced pick ups - what do people think? Upgrade or leave as is?

Dirty as a Pattaya soi 6 ladyboy
I have a Gladiator tele clone w/Wilkinson pick ups & bridge...also a Vintage (brand) V6 strat clone w/ Wilkinson pickups/hardware...don't see (or hear) any need to swap them out....think their tele clones (V52 & V62) have some variation of the same pickups & I haven't heard of anyone switching them out...unless there's some specific sound that makes it worthwhile....
Wait, are you the same guy that did an instructional on “Hey,” by The Pixies?
Nothing wrong with Wilkie gear.
I have a wilkinson bridge pickup that sounds great. Just micriphonic enough to feel like you are riding a not quite broken horse.
Also, i love that kozart goldtop. I have been waiting for a while for the ebay seller to get more in.
Do you still like it?
I've heard nothing but great things about Gladiators, and also Austins
I do, but I hardly ever play it. I seem to about never play for my own personal pleasure anymore, and that goldtop (and the snakehead, for that matter) is a bit of a one-trick pony, tone-wise. So for band stuff, I always find myself reaching for something more versatile.
I think their tuners might be the best dollar for dollar value on the market.
Like their vintage-esque compensated saddles bridge on my Tele. Looks like a Tele, can be intonated = win/win.
No idea about any of their other stuff.
I want to grab one of those Snakeheads
Are Ebay and Amazon the place to go?
Either search snakehead or look for seller senior
Thanks for the info. These are licensed by Wilkinson. So perhaps some kind of Chinese clone of a Wilkinson set for teles. I wonder if there is much of a difference
I got mine from cotteneyedjoe23, both the snakehead and the goldtop
Yes, I do. Am about to get into rockabilly style in the manner of James Burton. If I play bridge and pick/strum over bridge pick up, I can hear 'that sound'.
Neck is quite buttery for jazz. However, I plan to mod the wiring to the original '52 wiring to blend bridge and neck which knocks out the middle position and gives a very dark neck - perfect for jazz
