Greetings, I want to share my new amplifier with all of you. It's a 5F1 riding on the chassis of a 5f2. The reason for choosing this chassis is to have more space inside and be able to work better with the cable since it is the first amplifier that I build and to have the Pot. of tone. The tone has the Framus circuit, I got it on the ROB page. It also has Pot. of the Bias.

The Cabinet was built in PVC and the dimensions were perfect, but I would like to add Tolex, someone who can recommend a glue to adhere the Tolex to PVC. 29404585_10160135326950134_719327550_o.jpg 30122658_10156164587245011_1143107604_o.jpg 30698228_10156184687810011_7203158015116050432_n.png 30689356_10156184687780011_696111102286626816_n.png 30714044_10156187333550011_6117219222729785344_n.jpg 30712475_10156187419295011_2027677845970485248_n.jpg 30713359_10156187419470011_7455104022219849728_n.jpg 30688681_10156187419370011_3546847287969841152_n.jpg 30726699_10156187419420011_541342333732388864_n.jpg 30688681_10156187419370011_3546847287969841152_n.jpg

Thanks for answering, which of them do you use? Different options appear on the page or are the differences only in size?

You built an amp out of plastic?

A couple of ideas to kick around.
    1. Vinyl flooring adhesive. You can get that at a hardware store.

    2. What I use when I build amps out of WOOD, the way God intended them to be built ;) , is Weldwood adhesive painted on the amp itself. Two coats allowed to flash.
Then spray the tolex with 3M #77 adhesive spray. It sticks really well.

The link I posted was for 3M super 90. I’ve used super 77 before, but the ‘90 is MUCH stronger, like impossible to remove after 24hours. I’ll post a thread soon, just make sure to let it tack up before slapping the pieces together or you’ll get bubbles.

If a 3M spray adhesive is used, I'd try it on a piece of scrap first. Back in my checkered past I did packaging design and built tooling for vacuum forming styrofoam. My recollection is that 3M 77 spray adhesive is solvent-based and I remember it reacting badly with some plastics.

Wow,vacuum forming styrofoam sounds tricky, was it in extremely thin sheets so that the center didn't stay crispy and crunchy while the outside got soft and chewy?
