5e3 Cascaded Input wiring grid resistance ?

    Hi, @robrob , just looking at the cascaded gain channel *COAX* mod wiring/layout that moves the v1a 68k resistors off the board.

    It looks to me that the Hi Input side only has a single 68k grid resistance as the second one that should be in parallel to make 34k is actually shorted out between the Lo input S and T terminals?

    Am I reading this right?

    The diagram with the 68k's still on the board keep the original parallel path ?

    Also, in all your layouts you show only the Normal Hi jack having a physical wire to ground - as all the jacks are grounded to the case is there a reason for that separate wire to be either there or be shown on the diagram?


    Edit: Doh!!! That wire isn't for grounding the input, it is the actual ground bus grounding to the case, idiot! Sheesh.


    However, any reason why you swapped it to other jack on the diagrams shown above?
