Most recent organ salvage is a Hammond M2. The amp in this one is an AO-14 and uses octal preamp tubes. PT is noted on the original schematic as putting out 340-0-340. Any pros or cons using the iron from this for a 5c3 rather than a 5e3?

Perfect for either (if it also has a min 2A 5V winding and a min ~2A 6.3V winding)

With the tube compliment, wouldn't it be safe to assume that it would meet those levels?

My $9.99 5E3 chassis arrived and there is no way the PT from this AO-14 is going to fit

I pulled the PT from an AO-29 instead. I had to open it up just a bit but it looks like it can be made to work.

This one measured 323-0-323 with 115 at the wall as installed and running before I removed it from the Hammond chassis.

Any chance the OT from the Hammond would be suitable for the tweed deluxe?

It'll be low with a 5Y3, but a 5AR4 will give it some extra kick, or SS diode rectification. A pair of push-pull cathode biased 6V6s sound best in a tweed deluxe circuit running into an 8k (plate-to-plate) load with a 250R shared cathode resistor, if the plate voltage is between 340-360.
