Now you know why Custom Shop relics are so expensive. They sweat the details!

Their gopherwood Teles are spot on!

enough to assemble a complete wolf? It would, of course, not be able to be sold as vintage.

I wonder if it was a dire wolf or as big as mcKenzie.

The pleistocene age had a lot of large creatures.

That wolf must be a bit long in the gang by now.

...was the image reminding me of a certain ex-wife?

...and yet, to me, what is this quintessence of wolf?

Anyway - the article was somewhat inconsistent, let's just say.
"The snarling head, found with its teeth bared and brain intact, is almost 40cm in length — much larger than the average 25cm head length of a contemporary Siberian Gray wolf.

It is smaller than modern Arctic wolves, however."

Almost 40 cm? Yet the photo just below seems to measure from 6cm (at the nose) to maybe 36cm at the tip of the ears? Using that math, you could claim it was almost 50 cm, in that it's closer to 50 than it is to 5...

    Brain intact? hmmm.

Snarling? Judge for yourself; looks sort of sleepy to me...
