    Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger - have won 10 SBs since 2003 - they're all guys that play the game without show-boating and at least some degree of humility and respect for the game. Maybe Newton will learn something from this experience.

    I'll tell you that Newton is disliked by many in Seattle for ripping the 12th man flag out of a fan's hands, crumpling it up and throwing it on the ground and stomping on it. Got a big cheer from the home crowd, but it didn't go over well in Seattle.

    Not many people here are sorry to see them get spanked today. :lol:

    I like Cam Newton. He's a kid having fun. Life will suck all the fun out of him soon enough.

    a couple years ago in philly an opposing fan of the eagles had a banner near where the players come in and out of the locker room..lesean mccoy ripped it down...i have no problem when a player does that on their home field

    Panthers defense sucked tonight. Catching the ball some might have helped too. Once again disappointed by the home team.

    i thought their D was pretty good...not as dominant as theyve been but they got to peyton and defended pretty well...they sacks manning 3 times..had an interception...caused two fumbles

    Panthers had so many drops tonight, and the O-line was awful. People are going to put this on Cam, but it wasn't his fault.

    both defenses dominated tonight...just the broncos defense was a bit more dominate and carolina didnt have an answer for it...next year carolina will have their receivers healthy...i wonder what that team will do...cant wait to see

    I saw at least three drops by the Broncos, too. Manning's passing wasn't good but he hasn't gotten much help from the receivers. The truth is he wasn't there to be the best arm on the field but the to be the smartest guy on the field. And he was good enough!

    he almost lost the game. he couldnt throw more than 5 yards,
    he was dropping back and holding onto the ball forever, fumbling
    etc;
    ill give him credit though he stopped passing altogether...smart move!
    but if The Cams scored a TD it would have been lights out.

    I think The Cams messed up by not going for it on 4th and 3 late in the game.
    Manning had no chance of even getting a first down let alone scoring.

    Logic dictated the better defense & experience would prevail...no surprise for myself.

    So ?.... if Manning was throwing longer/better or a different Qtr back was playing for the Broncos... would they have won by more?.....

    Manning wasn't stopping the Panthers scoring....... and did enough to get his team over the line..... I'll bet his body is hurting tonight... :)
