2 volume 1 tone 4 way switch tele

    Im building a tele and i want to buy a 2 volume 1 tone control telecaster control plate and a fender 4-way switch for series connection. Im new to wiring and would like to hear what you would do

    The plate is easy enough to source: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5338148343&icep_item=111951609845

    The wiring isn't difficult but you probably won't find a diagram for it so you'll have to combine 2 different ideas: a Volume-Volume-Tone wiring and 4-way switch wiring.

    So wire the pickups to the pots according to this diagram (ignore the switches):

    And wire the switch according to this diagram (ignore the pots; also, note the output of the switch that connects to the volume pot should instead connect to the tone pot per the previous diagram):

    Don't forget that you must modify your neck pickup for series switching to work. You must cut the jumper wire that connects the ground wire to the neck pickup cover and solder a separate wire to the cover that gets soldered to the back of the volume pot. https://www.premierguitar.com/artic...ur-strat-tele-les-paul-and-super-strat?page=2
