Cool, congrats. Is that a reissue of a reissue? I remember Fender japan coming out with the Blue flower and pink paisley reissue models in the 80's. They must have kept on with them ever since. I played one of each back then and they were both really nice tele's.

I've checked these out a few times at Atomic Music ( an all-used/'players' music shop in DC-Area) and thought they felt and sounded great. Comfy necks and 'super twangy' is there if you want it too!
( I play old school Country, Blues, R&R- would love to have one!)

You're making those pickups sound just fine - I'd leave them as is.

Yeah it's a reissue of the 69's and they've been reissuing them since the early 80's off and on

Someone telling me to never sell something will most likely make me sell it haha. I have a selling and buying problem haha.

Great tone, and I really like this song! Really nice phrasing and composition!
Enjoy that guitar. My local music store had a used one for literally a day lol, it sold that quick.

Guess you’ve probably thought of this but taking the pups nearer the strings may up the output?

Yeah they're already close and it's not that it's just because they're winded for low output aka vintage output.

Well they are supposed to be 6.3 and 7.2 which is not that low. I found them to be pretty bright but interestingly, when I put the metal ring around the neck pup of my Paisley, it seemed to tame some of the brightness and I quite like them now.

Definitely different to my other Teles.

That seems kinda low to me or around "normal" maybe i don't know and that's interesting about a ring.

A couple of years ago a bunch of Japanese FSR paisley and blue flowers were imported into the UK. I went for the blue flowers as although pink paisley is cooler, it's not £150 cooler.
BTW Brock I love your playing on the video, I could listen to that all night.

Beautiful guitar there too! I wanted the pink paisley but I'm glad I got the blue flower! I have some brass compensated saddles on their way right now and some new strings for it! Also thank you! :)
