1994 Fender Squier series what wood?

    Hi all,

    So I pickend up a Squier Tele from 1994 and was wondering what kind of wood is the
    body made of?

    I think basswood was commonly used, and is still used even in higher end guitars. Similar to alder, perhaps a bit softer. Nothing wrong with it.

    Where was it made? I have a MIM squier from that period in LPB. I believe it's a poplar body.

    It's made in Mexico.

    My 1993 Made in Korea Squier Series is (I believe) swamp ash.

    The price list for 94 lists two tele's 013-3202 at 309.99 has a poplar body it came in black red or white
    033-7302 started out in January for 319.99 and had its price dropped in march to 299.99 it has no description for the body but adds the color blue to the other available colors. The only neck option was 21 fret maple.

    what bridge does yours have?
