Loove pine teles. Here mine DIY..
Sorry for "three times the same post", was on the phone, and received no input about what I posted... anyway, here another OLDpine under work... a real barncaster...
Paid a visit to renowned Martin guitar, Vintage guitar, wood expert John Arnold yesterday and he said this wood is Hemlock
Best not eat it then!
Not even the same.......
Thinking about curly redwood for the top
Well vacation and Holiday shipping held us up for a couple of weeks, we got wood
I think I got a splinter just looking at that picture! But I love it. Well done!!
Love those pieces.... can't wait to see them all together, that'll look awesome.
Picture didn't attach - but THAT barncaster looks awesome!
Finally got some shop time, shot the edges, glued them up, Nice
Wow that grain is spectacular!
That's sick, nicely done!
That will look fantastic!!
Beautiful. I love the planing jig.
Thanks, around here its a "shooting board" and I was using my Veritas "Shoot Board Plane" I used a Stanley Bedrock for years but this one is just more fun. I build more acoustics than electrics so its used quite a bit.
Getting closer with my daughters reclaimed 1860's barn wood body, curly redwood droptop tele, working on a few necks, thermally modified "roasted" quarter sawn curly maple fretboards, and one roasted neck shaft
It looks great!!
Wow! Very cool build!!
