Don't forget that the new season (3) starts next week (1/8/11), with Willie as the guest.

The best 30 minutes on television.

Really kids, if you can watch the Marty Stuart Show, you deserve to give it a chance.

Would love to attend a taping.

I hear it is one of the toughest tickets in Nashville.

Found about them from this forum. Bought their CD, then found that they had been in the UK in mid Summer 2010, but had missed them.

    Link to show?

Twice the camera shows a guy on the front row wearing a Quebe Sisters tshirt, once right after their first song, that looks like Ed King. Anybody notice him?

    I saw that guy.

Don't know who Ed King is though.

    Not much help, eh?

Holy mackerel, the Quebe Sisters are amazing. That western swing stuff is exactly the kind of stuff I've been working on playing with Kristi, a fiddle playing friend. Lotta chords for my arthritic hands to get around. Thank god for the Vanilla Book. (see Ralph Patts site,Rip also Portable Changes)

I so love the Quebe Sisters. I missed it because my son was watching Doctor Who then, but I'm sure I caught it last year.

I love the Marty Stuart Show. I have six or seven episodes recorded on the cable box, and woe to whomever erases one to make room for "The Office."

I watched the Quebe Sisters episode this morning. Excellent act.

Yes that was Ed King, and if you are not sure who that it is, he was a member of The Strawberry Alarm Clock, and the temp bass player, then turned guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and wrote and played Sweet Home Alabama. And he is the self proclaimed biggest fan of The Quebe Sisters band.

In April 2010, we had the Quebe's come to Montgomery and play a couple of shows and spent some time with the band, and Ed and his wife came down from Nashville to hang out and watch the show. Anytime they play, Ed is at their gig if he can get there.

The Quebe's are in a league of their own, and seeing them on t.v. or You Tube just won't do, if you hear them live, it doesn't matter what style of music you are into, you will fall in love with these ladies. And they are the sweetest things as well, ....the girls, not Drew and Joey..lol
