I see three albums worth of photos, one of his guitar, one of his bad looking table saw, and one of his drill press.
In China, I work hard will not buy good table saws. We this rubbish everywhere. But we sell to other country products but is much better. Chinese people earn RMB, spend $. But can only buy garbage. A tragedy of the country. We the people here are very dishonest
Wow, that is one cool drill press, one really nice build, and one SCARRY TABLE SAW! On the guitar, congrats on a nice piece considering what you have to work with. Keep on makin wood chips, and please tighten up the TS for safety! I'd use that Ryobi miter for as much of the table saw duties as possible.
Ingenious. The table saw reminds me of plans I've seen in old popular mechanics mags. Roy Underhill has one something like that, but his is treadle powered!
Once you get your table and safety stuff built around the table, I would recommend adding weight to the table. Weight built into the saw will help prevent vibrations and make it more user friendly.
Looks like you are off to a great start. Don forget that adding some flat panels to the sides to box it in will keep the joints from mocking diagonally. The bearing set up for the blade looks very solid, hopefully you will get a very smooth cut. -josh
It does look very solid.I don't see any height adjustment and definitely you can't tilt the blade,at least from what I can see. It does look very heavy though
