Fender MIM '69 Tele Thinline Reissue (Special Run)
View Smaller Image

Photo Details
Poster: Gregg_G  (see this users gallery)

Body: A MIM '69 Tele Thinline Reissue in mahogany with a factory limited edition flame paint scheme. Modded to accommodate a humbucker in the neck.

Neck: I found the matching neck (as it would have come from the factory) on eBay. It's a 1 piece 4 bolt maple with a "U" Shape. 7.25" Radius

Machine Heads: Fender/Schaller Vintage "F" Style Tuning Machines

Bridge: Vintage Style 3-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele Bridge

Pickguard: Custom cut 3-Ply White Pearloid

Pickups: Custom wound Fralin Blues Special in the neck and a matched Fralin Unbucker in the neck spot. Wound by Lindy himself (he took the order when it was called in). Wound as a matched set to ensure the 'bucker doesn't overpower the single coil.

Controls Knobs : Custom piston shaped knobs by Mark Johnston

Wiring : New control harness (with all new pots, input jack & 3 way switch) wired up by Andy Rothstein. Wired in the traditional Tele format but with a push/pull coil for the 'bucker tap on the tone knob.

Jack socket: Electrosocket jack cup
