52 RI

Photo Details
Poster: Big John  (see this users gallery)

I bought the 52 RI in 1983 and it has been an absolute workhorse ever since, it's been dropped, played, lost twice and been to airports i havent but it just keeps going.
I added SD Broadcaster p/ups and a Scruggs peg on the low 'E' and it's had such a long, hard life it looks more relic'd than a relic, much like its owner i guess.
I like to hang 'em high but what was i thinking here ?
It was 1984 in Trondheim, Norway, maybe it was the "White lightnin' "

I'd love to see some higher resolution pics of the 52 RI in its current state with all its marks and battle scars...
