I bought this F-270SCE new in 1982. Fender had two models (at that time) with the cut away dreadnought body, the F-265C (no electronics) and this one (came with electronics).

In the summer of 2011 I had the nut and saddle replaced with camel bone. It still sounds much like it did, but with more volume, sustain and resonance. Well worth the $150.00 spent!
