'82 Fender F-270SCE

I bought this F-270SCE new in 1982. Fender had two models (at that time) with the cut away dreadnought body, the F-265C (no electronics) and this one (came with electronics).
Info from the original brochure:
Top: Solid Sitka Spruce
Back and Sides: Book-matched high grade Rosewood
Neck: Mahogany
Fretboard: Rosewood
Bridge: Rosewood
Decorations around the soundhole and back center: genuine wood inlays
Tuning machines: Gold plated
Inlaid position markers and Fender name in headstock (no decals here!)
Fully bound body, neck and headstock.
Electronics: Piezo pickup under bridge and feedback control (state of the art for the time).
Inside: assymetric spruce cross-bracing

In the summer of 2011 I had the nut and saddle replaced with camel bone. It still sounds much like it did, but with more volume, sustain and resonance. Well worth the $150.00 spent!
