Pros:	Sets the standard
Cons:	A bit pricey

Martin D28 is the gold standard for acoustic dreadnaughts. I absolutely love mine and - while I have enjoyed many others from time to time - can't think of an acoustic guitar that feels more like home. Each one is slightly different, and so some shopping is always recommended before settling in, but it's hard to go wrong given Martin's legendary quality control and family-oriented approach to business. (And made in USA!)
