(NTC) If you're like me, sometimes you need a break from all that voltage enhanced 6 string music. On a tip I picked this disc up and I'm real glad I did. On this all Dylan set, Tim O'Brien (from the band Hot Rize) and friends redo some classics (Forever Young, Senor, Maggies Farm)and some not so obvious choices (Man Gave Names, Oxford Town). Stlyes range form straight bluegrass, newgrass, funkygrass and reggaegrass. Tim is a first rate singer and mando player; and the backup is real fine too, strong flatpicking and banjo breaks abound. I love Zimmy, but to hear these stories and wordplays come from someone else's vocal chords is a treat.
Good summer listening.
