Pros: No longer hard to find
Cons: None

At last.

I've received the first of a special early production batch of replica milled jack cups designed to replace the extremely hard to find items that were fitted to early Broadcaster, Nocaster and Esquire guitars.

I must confess, I'm delighted because I had a hand in the "birth" of this product, although HighTech Tool (http://www.hightechtool.com/guitar/) must get most of the credit because they have produced a very accurate part, filling a void filled only by odd one popping up on eBay from time-to-time (with the last two going for $199 and $161 respectively).

So if you're looking for an accurate copy of the early milled jack cup, get in touch with Hightech Tool and they will be able to provide you with a perfect replica.

The first batch (http://www.poehome.com/photos/temp/jackcup/JCUPS_01.JPG) look as though they're spoken for, but I'm sure demand will create a need for the milling machines to be programmed again.
