Description: The Weber Ceramic 10VS is warm and clear, yet detailed and articulate. Later/smooth breakup, aggrssive, more headroom than the AlNiCo version. Uses the Silver Ten cone for a warmer, smoother tone. 10", 50oz ceramic magnet, 40 watts, 1-3/4" voice coil, ribbed cone. Also available with Weber's Hemp cone, which is a smoother, darker tone, with less attack (great for taming treble).

Pros: Warm vintage British tone in a 10" speaker

I got the 16 Ohm, Hemp cone version of this speaker. It has a strong mids as any British Voiced speaker should and is very warm toned. It sounds much better still when broken-in. With a Peavey Classic 30 it was buttery smooth in a closed back cab, sounding tons better that the stock Blue Marvel. With my Lil' Night Train in an open back cab, it has a moderately warm tone, but has wonderful quacky break-up. A classic 60's Bit rock tone. It sounds bigger that it really is, hard to tell this is a 10 inch speaker, not a 12 inch speaker. It didn't respond well with the LNT in a closed back cab, but I believe it to be the cab's fault, not the speakers. These are hand assembled in the USA, only after you order them.
