I have a G and L Asat with the stock pickups.
Been playing Ernie Ball Slinky 10's for years. Last visit to the store for strings
I noticed the new Cobalts by Ernie Ball were in stock. Bought a set of them and a set of my old reliable slinkys. They were the same playing wise and held their tune well. Where I noticed a difference was on the bottom three strings. The low E, A, and D string seemed to spread out, and become individual strings rather than the low end jumble. I took the set of originals back and got two more sets of Cobalts. I only change strings about once a month so for now the extra 4.50 isn't so bad. And I hope as they become more popular, prices will go down.
Try 'em yourself and see what YOU think!

Pros:

Long Lasting, Great Sustain, Crisp Tone, Hold Tuning
Cons:

Too Expensive, A little rough on fingers
Very interesting take on the Ernie Ball Electric Guitar Strings. The sound of these strings really made the pickups shine and the sustain seems to last for a while. The only problem i had with these strings was that they were too expensive and they are a little bit rough on your fingers, not as silky as the regular Ernie Ball strings that cost much less. Overall these are great strings and if you have the money, try them out yourself and enjoy

Pros:

Clear Crisp Tone, Bright, More Powerful/Louder, Good Powerful Rock Strings
Cons:

A little more expesive than regular strings (+$3), slightly stiff feeling
I was wanting a little brighter tone and just a touch more powerful pup in my Agile AL-3110 (LP copy). I read the reviews and their characteristics sounded like just what I needed. It was just what I needed. They are crisp and clean sounding, slightly brighter toned and more powerful sounding/louder. I 'm not looking for any more pups for this guitar, as these strings gave me what I wanted. The texture was smooth, well polished, but to me the strings feel stiffer. They still bend okay, just feel stiff. I'm still waiting to see how long they last, before the lose tone or corrode.
As of right now, if you want brighter clearer, stronger tones, these string just might be what you need. If you are looking for for a warmer/darker tone and more vintage power levels, the you don't want these.
