Description: Boss mij Lm-2 limiter pedal.Great limiter/compressor and imho the best one boss ever made, certainly up there with the cs-2.

The lm-2 has a very flat, transparent eq response and can be as subtle or as squishy as you like.

It is also dead silent, hard to believe for a compressor i know but its the truth!

It just does what its meant to with the minimum of fuss and nasty side effects.

Still cheap on ebay (got mine for £30) and there are quite a few on there.

A real sleeper pedal and knocks spots off the cs-3.

The lm-2 has a very flat, transparent eq response and can be as subtle or as squishy as you like.

Personally i don't like comps with too much of their own character and the lm-2 is very neutral.Ive used other comps like the orange squeezer and boss cs-3 but found them too effecty.

It was designed for us guitarists but found more favour with bassists, thus all bosses limiters after the lm-2 were in their bass series.Dont let this put you off though as regards its suitability for guitar.

Make no mistake this pedal is dead silent, hard to believe for a compressor i know but its the truth!

However unlike a regular comp it doesn't boost low level signals,it just clips the

tops off above the threshold you set making for a subtler effect.

A real sleeper pedal and knocks spots off the cs-3 and can be had for a lot less than the cs-2.(also a great pedal)
