Pros: Price, Sound, Good Fun...
Cons: Dodgy input, Nothing good clean

These are interesting little things, little battery powered amps... there are quite a few on sale from Vox, Danelectro there are some beer can amps and also this popular Marshall "Micro Stack". This is a 1 watt solid state amp, with a 2inch speaker and that makes it sound very boxy that is sometimes a good and unique thing.. if you listen to my DADGAB tuning demo you'll find that it is ideal for some fresh experimental blues and rock playing an for exploring other cultures (Indian in this case).

It has a clean channel and an overdrive channel, there's not much point of the clean channel as if you turn back your guitar's volume knob it will respond and clean up and the low wattage lets this transistor amp response to your picking dynamics.

Anyway, all in all this amp was £25 in the UK and a great little thing to get and you have nothing to lose, it gives some great tone. There's alternatives that seem just as good, but micing it up here it sounds like you could even record with it... I heard that Derek trucks even recorded some tracks on "Already free" with a similar amp...
