The Vox AC15C1 combo makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and uses a pair of EL84 tubes to drive a single 12" Celestion G12M Greenback.
All guitar amps in the Vox Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16-ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers.
Additionally, a second extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16-ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound. Vox Custom AC15C1 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp Features: 2 channels 15W into 16 ohms 12" Celestion G12M Greenback

I bought this amp after much comparison to other sub $1000 lower wattage tube amps. (vox night train, fender blues jr,etc.)
It sounds pretty good, especially once the speaker breaks in.
It's not amazing but I think it's able to hold it's own against other production tube amps like the fender deluxe reverb. It's Much louder than any other 15 watt tube amp I played and it has a pretty decent amount of clean headroom. It works really well for small gigs with an average to somewhat loud drummer. If you have a really heavy hitter you'll either have to crank it and lose the cleans or mic it. (which it excels at)
I think it has a nice classic "vox chime", certainly more than the night train.
The tremolo is really good and covers all kinds of sounds.
reverb is really "washy" sounding and I rarely turn it above 1/4 but it's ok if you don't turn the level up too much.
Both channels are nice. the normal channel almost has a fenderish vibe.
The "top boost" is obviously louder and has more treble. This is the most traditional "vox" sounding channel.
The cut knob is the best feature on the amp. It's like a tone knob for the amp and it allows you to quickly change the amp's sound quite radically. I love it.
overall the amp sounds good, especially for the price. It's been reliable when I've gigged with it (about 7 times)
The biggest downside to this amp is the weight. It's very heavy for a 15 watt 1x12. Almost 60 lbs.
I highly recommend this amp. Sounds good with nice tremolo and it has multiple channels. Couldn't be happier with it.

Will not go over the specs on this one, but I really like this amp, esp for cleans. Has very open sound and quite bright. This thing is quite loud, have had zero problems with the reliability of this amp. However, think over time the tubes have gotten worn out, distortion is a bit farty.
