Description:

This is an old videotape of Albert Lee, the great British country Tele picker who played with Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Rodney Crowell, Roseanne Cash, Ricky Skaggs, and Don Everly among others. His solo albums are also guitar classics.
On this video Albert shows off some of his vintage instruments including a few battered and beautiful 50's Teles - one autographed on the back by lots of musician heroes, and the most beautiful old 50's Black Beauty Les Paul that I have ever seen. This may have been filmed before his custom guitars came out, but he does play through an old Music Man amp.
He demonstrates his lick from the beginning of "Country Boy" and several other blistering fast country runs and Nashville style techniques. He also demos some great delay techniques and delay settings.
This video is for intermediate to advanced players. Albert is a shy and humble guy and is a great professional guitarist but not a professional guitar teacher. The DVD comes with a booklet with all the sections printed in standard guitar notation and tab.
There are other DVDs of Albert Lee by other makers, so don't confuse the Hal Leonard version with possible others.
