It's a bit bulky for what it does, but sounds great. Three knobs control distortion, filter, and volume. The filter knob is the best feature, giving you a wide range of control over the signal, where other distortion pedals really only offer a small spectrum. It also sounds very different between different amps and guitars, so you're not sacrificing the sound of your gear when you switch it on. I'm not sure what the difference is between the vintage rat and the regular one, but this one does not have a status LED, so be careful to remember when it's switched on.
