I've placed several orders with them. They've been very responsive. Canceling an order was no problem. The site is well organized and responsive.

I order a Epi LP. This was used C quality. Took them six days to discover that they really didn't have it. Then they lied says that somebody had bought it just before I did. Then several days later they told me what I am guessing is the truth. They said the when they went to look for the guitar, it wasn't there. Maybe they need to call the police and file a stolen property report.
Then, they sent me a link to a offer that they gave me, but the link didn't work. I emailed them twice about this among several other problems that I had with them, andthe first time they didn't mention anything about the link and they haven't returned my second email which is several business days old. They still haven't refunded me. They ain't getting a single penny of my money.

I ordered an item from Music123 that was sold out. A representative contacted me within a day to offer an alternative item. I emailed her several times, always getting a reply by the next business day. As a result, I have purchased two guitars from her now. I highly recommend their sales rep, Ro Gallo, at phone ext. 1159.
I have purchased several times from Music123 and have been very satisfied with their service. Once, I returned a guitar that was defective, Music123 took care of the return shipping charges. Even before I had returned the defective item, they had shipped a replacement with the shipping charges all paid by Music123.
I have just posted a very negative review of Musiciansfriend. As far as I am concern, Music123 gets my business and nothing for Musiciansfriend.

Ok, I've tried these guys 2 times and both times where a mess.
1) First time, I ordered a strap. They sent the wrong strap. Upon further inspection, I realized the item numbers matched correctly and they did send me what I ordered, but they had the wrong picture on their website, so I thought I was ordering something else. I sent a polite email informing them of the problem and asked for a return. It took 2.5 weeks for them to respond to me.
2) Second time. I orderd some stuff. It took a LONG time to ship, even though it was in stock, which they say will ship out the next buisness day. But it took 6 buisness days. No big deal. I'm patient. But they only ship half my order, so I try and cancel the other half. 2 weeks and 3 emails later, they haven't responded to my cancel request, even though I'm following their own specified directions. Finally got the order canceled after I called in. They just don't have their act together. There are too many other great retailers like zzounds and sweetwater to waste any more patients with these guys IMO.
