Pros: Everything
Cons: ????

I bought this amp used last year because I knew the $225.00 price tag was really good, and I thought I might use it as trade bait. I'd heard they were very well made, but people were upgrading tubes and replacing the speaker. I sure don't understand why... this amp is simply excellent. I'm keeping it! I use it at home for jams with buddies and everybody raves about it. I also take it to a jam night, and it's blown away several of the other amps on stage. I've been back twice and the same three guys keep asking me if they can plug into it.
The 15" Blue Marvel speaker is everything you could ask for, which is a pretty tall order since the Blue Marvel replaced the excellent Black Widow line from Peavey.
The cleans are great, the overdrive is solid, the reverb is outstanding, the tremolo is solid (don't use it much), and the double footswitch is perfect. It handles higher volume levels well too, and gets warmer as it gets louder. Absolutely the only drawback, which probably is only a drawback to me, is that there was no standby switch. I guess I was just too well trained on my old Fender Showman, because I installed a standby on the inside/back of the amp.
As an old Fender lover, this amp is a keeper.

BTW, I have the tweed version and the looks of this thing are also excellent. No ugly Peavey Logo, more of the look of a Blues Jr. or Blues Deville. Most people ask what it is and are surprised it's a Peavey.
