Hi, i have the UX1 which has the same software near enough as the previous review so i wont go into details.
I only have one complaint. If you are buying this as a standalone recording package for yourself, IMO get the Guitarport Rifftracker INSTEAD as it comes with a simpler recording program and also with a great drum-machine which helps recordings no end, better than a real one actually, it does what you want it to do!!!

OTT FX

Simple to use but you do have to load Gearbox or PODfarm interface. I prefer the Gearbox, then I disable all its FX to clean before sending to Sonar Home Studio to record. I record from my guitar/amp/FX which are better than anything modelled in Gearbox. The UX1 itself does no modelling. Output monitoring is also simple, I line o/p to Denon stereo amp and suitable speakers. The knobs atop the TonePort UX1 useful to adjust level of mic (also use for D.I. feed) and headphone (use the one on the monitor amp). The Line6 TonePort UX1 is the simplest 2-input unit of the range, I don't anything more complicated. Have had UX1 for a few years, the range has not changed much.
------------------------------ There's two kinds of people, those that hear the music and those that don't.
